About Me

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, I have always been inspired by the natural landscapes that I grew up in. As a child, I loved playing in the forests of the Wasatch Mountain Range where I became fascinated with all the living things there. I called snakes and slugs my friends, built forts out of fallen trees, and brought injured mice home to rehabilitate. Through these experiences, I grew a strong connection that shaped my love for the earth and all the wild things on it. This love took me to the deserts of Southern Utah where I studied Outdoor Recreation in Parks and Tourism and spent my free time learning how to rock climb, canyoneer, snowboard, and river raft. After receiving my degree  I went on to pursue a career as a Park Ranger because I knew that working inside wasn't for me. My various experiences working in different parks combined with my hobbies takes me to places that inspire me to create. I make art to show the connection we have to all living things and the beauty of the natural world. I hope it inspires others to take care of the planet that we get to call home.
